Stopped by Buns on the way upstate with my cheeseburger-fiend son. Solid burger, excellent fries, and thick creamy milkshakes. We had single patty cheeseburgers, on toasted buns, with fresh toppings and a yummy savory bun sauce. My son insisted on stopping by again on our way back downstate, and I expect it will become a regular stop for us on our upstate road trips.

We walked in, there were customers seated already. We ordered, got our drinks and picked a table. Our food arrived less than 5 min. I got the lamb burger without onions of course and my husband got the Dirty Bird. I didn't get to try him but mine was fantastic!
I love Buns! I am a burger fan! Affordable grass-fed burger that I always walk away feeling satisfied. It’s a local franchise that I am proud we have in the Hudson Valley. The service is great from the staff, the soda selection is wonderful and the range of burgers and sandwiches is awesome. I’ve never had anything from here that I didn’t enjoy, even the veggie ones! The fries are delicious. The chocolate milk shake is probably the best one I’ve had in this area. The person at the counter even wrote “Have a great night!” On the To-Go cup for the milk shake—so sweet! I always get the original double patty burger with all the fixings and special sauce but tonight I had the plain cheese burger with nothing else but one patty and cheddar and was very happy. Support local! Fast food drive-in are just as expensive anyway!!!

Buns Burgers is an amazing restaurant, with amazing burgers and milkshakes. Also, the atmosphere feels cozy because of the small place, and faint music. And the food comes so quickly, that a you could sit down to have a conversation, and the next thing you know, the food is there! I think that Buns Burgers, make the best hamburgers I’ve ever tasted.
My favorite place in town for a burger. Bonus points for how incredible their cane sugar colas are!
